Goodbye. I have said that word so many times, yet this time there is an air of finality surrounding it.
Finale. The concluding part of any performance.
As this chapter of my life draws to a close, it's time to step out onto the stage and give a bow as the curtain falls upon this act and opens upon another.
It's time to take the moments -- every single one of them -- of the past year, and let them blow away -- leaves swept along by a fall breeze. It's time to take the good and the bad, the beautiful and the hideous, the glorious and the painful, and let the rain wash them all away.
Because starting over isn't always painful.
Starting over isn't always bad.
Everything has to come to a close eventually.
Because sometimes endings are just new beginnings.
