Little Birdy

I was just a little girl, when I saw that little birdy,

I was small and weak and very nerdy.

But the little birdy taught me to be strong,

And was my very best friend til I did something very wrong.

They dared me to but even if they hadn't, I would have done it anyway,

You see that was the day, the birdy never flew away.

My mama came along, to see what cause the screech,

I told her it was me, saying I saw a leech.

She said I was silly and went back to her jobs, feeling slack,

She never realized what I was holding behind my back.

You see, that birdy was very kind and would never rave,

Probably because after I killed it, I put it in the deepest grave.......
