Night is here, Day has died.
The past of ours, left behind.
The moon is out, the Sun went down.
But is still there, without a frown.
The darkness has come to
Drown our thoughts.
But still thinking of what, is to come.
Blacks silhouettes watching us,
Standing there without a fuss.
The darkness is my secret friend.
The oldest one that I met.
Maybe the only friend I’ll ever have,
As no one I know has a laugh.
I wish the darkness can stay forever.
Blackness surrounds me,
There’s nothing I can see.
Clawing at the night,
Trying to escape its
Clutches and become free.
The night, once my friend,
Now holds me prisoner, until the day ends.
