For all the fans of anime and manga on this wiki, listen up:

Wikia will soon launch it's latest Collaborative Writing Project, centering around anime and manga, or rather the umbrella genre animanga. The difference here is that it will involve such masters of animanga as Masao Maruyama, Kazuo Koike, Yoshitaka Amano, Takashi Okazaki, Shin-ichi Hiromoto and Hiroaki Ikigama. I have no idea who half these guys are, but apparently they're legends of animanga.

It will be structured like previous Collaborative Writing Projects - one paragraph at a time by anybody with a Wikia account. Writers will work from character bios written by the pros in three stories based on three genres - Girls, Samurai and Vampires, one story at a time lasting about a week. And here's possibly the best part - you can submit fan-made art to be judged by the masters!! That's right - if you want to write manga someday, or create anime films, here's your chance to get professional advice on your art!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to collaborate with the Masters of Animanga on a massive, open project. The completed stories and art will be presented at Comic-Con in New York and possibly even published, with full credit to all authors. If you want to get involved, follow this link: here. It starts September 3rd, and in the meantime the animanga artists involved will be releasing related videos on Youtube. Watch for updates and tell all the animanga fans you know that anybody can be involved. All it takes is Internet access, a free, easy-to-create Wikia account and an idea in your head.
